Services in the State of Emergency (Again)

As we had planned for this coming weekend, we are moving back to livestreaming our Sunday morning services at 10:30 am each week, with a maximum of 10 people in the building. You can find the service in the same place it has been the last few weeks:

Our plan is to livestream these smaller services during the provincial state of emergency, as we choose to continue supporting the public health recommendations for places of worship. Jake and Sam were able to take part in a Zoom call hosted by FEB Central which confirmed this complies with the regulations and aligns with how many of our fellow FEB churches will be moving forward during this time.

With our own activity in the building decreasing again, so has RCA’s as they have moved their classes back to online learning. Be in prayer for the school as move forward with this until more info is released on when they will be allowed to return to in-person learning. We are thankful with them that under the regulations they are allowed to have their pre-school group in the building through the week.

Once we are back to hosting larger groups for services, we will let you know and have a registration form available at that time. Until then, we can all gather on Sunday mornings on our couches and in our PJs :)

Two other minor updates:

We recently had an exterior mail slot installed just yesterday in the window beside the front office doors. As we re-adjust to the lockdown, you can now drop off your offerings or mail at any time of day or night without needing to arrange a time with the staff. If you would prefer a “stay-at-home” donation option, we also have you covered. Give Steph a call in the office or check our website for details on recurring bank withdrawals or donating online.

By the way, if you have had any trouble with the volume of the livestream being too low, you might want to check it out now: Thanks to Chris’ ingenuity and several hours work, he was able to improve the sound quality and volume significantly! The quality of the sermon audio files are quite improved too for those who listen through the podcast streaming platforms. Thanks, Chris!
