This is just a quick update, following up on our announcement last week that we are moving forward with a re-opening date of Sunday, September 13, 2020.
With the end of the provincial state of emergency and the addition of some helpful guidelines from the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, our Re-Opening Task Force is working together to address the many facets of what running a service safely during a pandemic looks like. We are setting up a registration system; establishing a cleaning and safety plan, as well as protocols for how to enter and move through the building; working on a livestream system for those still at home; sorting out what volunteers will be needed; and deciding what the actual service itself will look like!
As we work these things out, we will have more details to share with you. Please remember to connect with those who don’t have email/internet access and let them know we are moving forward with the September 13 date in mind, and that we will be contacting them directly once we have more information to share. There will be an online registration option, as well as an option to register by phone so we are not leaving anyone out!
Please continue to pray for the Task Force, as well as our Elders, Deacons & Staff, that they would make prayerful, wise decisions as things are again shifting, and for the energy required to get this all set-up. We are excited to have the opportunity to again be able to gather together after many months apart. Thank you for your patience, graciousness, and prayers during this time. Lord willing, we will see some of your faces in the near future.
