Kids' Art & Church Family Video Greetings

Faces of Crestwicke (...okay, we’re still working on the title)

We would very much like to pull together a video compilation of as many of you, our dear Crestwicke family, as are willing to participate. As an individual or as a family, film and send us a 15-30 second video: just say hello, or share a greeting, thought, verse, or prayer request you wish to share with the congregation. Once this current lockdown is over, we’ll reach out to anyone who needs help recording their greeting (in a safe socially-distanced manner, of course).

We want to share this collection of greetings online around June 23rd (a little fun around the time of our annual budget meeting!) but we’ll need some time to stitch all the videos together, so the sooner we get your video in the better! Every one of you is an important part of the local church family here, and we would love so much to see you so we can all stay connected in this small but meaningful way.

If you know you will need some help with recording, let us know and we’ll make sure to connect with you. If you know someone who will need tech help and you have those skills, reach out to them and offer your services! We want to see as many of your faces as we can :) And feel free to send along your trial run bloopers too…you know us, we like a good blooper reel!

For our Crestwicke Kids!

Okay parents, this is a note for the kids, so you’ll have to pass this on to them:

Hey Crestwicke Kids!
We miss seeing you all around here, so we came up with an idea we hope you will like! We want to put your art in an online gallery on our website, along with art from a bunch of other Crestwicke kids!
Draw or paint a picture of something you’ve been doing lately, or something you are thankful to God for…or draw whatever it is you like to draw! Then, if you would like, we want to know a little about your art–include a separate note telling us the story behind the work, and make sure to include your first name. Then drop it off or mail it into the church and we’ll take a good quality scan of your art, type up your description, and put it online in a beautiful gallery for everyone to enjoy. (Just one artwork per kid, so pick your favourite!)
We’ll aim for Friday, June 4th as the due date, so you have a couple weeks. We're looking forward to seeing your creations!
p.s. if you want your artwork back after you send it, we’ll make sure to return it to you!
